Sold Secure Ratings: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond, Translated to Insurer Acceptance
Sold Secure tests bicycle locks and grades them Bronze, Silver, Gold or Diamond. What matters for a claim is not the tier on its own but which insurers name it as their minimum, and up to what bike value.
Note
This page does not re-explain the Sold Secure test method; that is covered well elsewhere.
It exists to translate the tier into an insurance decision.
